Fun Times and Great Memories

Here is a game I copied from Victoria:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot-- or just from blogland-- anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

kari--I laughed out loud what you wrote on mine because of the I will hit you in your calf comment. Oh my gosh I so remember that. I mean really what was I thinking?? I mean I still have a grin on my face so funny! Of course cheerleading camps--from the matching outfits to staying up way too late to the ride up there in the school van to the brutal workouts. To toe wars--we both have some strong toes. to off campus lunch. remember cici's?? to blaring the music in Sherri's mustang to TLC. lots of good memories and I too am glad that we are still friends and that are girls can play together!

Oh man I have so many:

Derek jumping out of a window to hide from my mom, you two being grounded and passing notes back and forth between the two of you, meeting boys in the mall, making our "posters" and the infamous BCS bridge, fighting over boys, dressing the same, your shower when I came to visit and drank too much, when I first met you at Brentwood and we gave each other our phone numbers in math, chicken fried steak and brussel sprouts, swimming and laying out at your pool, Abilene and all them boys! Just to name a few!

Agreed! Basketball. Man we had some crappy coaches! But good times in the ole BCS vans!

I have quite a few since it all started in 5th grade... Let's see Brandon and Daniel Farrar (boyfriends). Bobby. Our birthday parties together. Guy shopping at the mall. The gangsters chasing us out of the tennis courts at my house. Those guys (I can't even remember there names) that came to my house and we played basketball with them, they were brothers I think and I am sure we snuck around and saw them other places. Your mom signing us out of school because we both happen to be sick and hanging out at your house the rest of the day. Chris the Crip (gang). Ok that is enough I guess. ha ha

Well, you had alot of good ones on mine, so I second that! But just to add a few...your several breakdowns at my house about boys and my late night drives to your house to "calm you down". Our trips to McDonalds to get cones (back when it was only 84 cents for 2). Our cruises in the Camaro with the t-tops off jammin to either Dixie Chicks or Usher..."It's 7:00 on the dot, I'm in my drop top cruisin the streets." Wow, we were so cool! LOL. And more recent, my trips to Georgia and Tennessee to see you and Ashlyn (and sometimes Luis if he was home). Mostly, I have enjoyed seeing you as a mom. You are truly amazing with Ashlyn and I have learned so much watching you with her. I am so blessed to have you in my life. I love you chica!

Remember our poor teacher, I think his name was Mr.Roberts, I think...remember what a hard time our smart-alec(sp?) class gave him. I think(know)that we made him quit. And you got me hooked on Vanilla Dr. Pepper from Sonic, you let me try yours once, and I was hooked!

And Victoria, I am laughing thinking about blaring TLC!

Considering you've been in my life for almost 25 years now - - I have ALOT of memories. Some bad, some good, and some just plain retarded :)

I will always remember swimming lessons with you. Taking long road trips to Freer & Sonora and being cramped in the backseat, trying to both lay down, your feet in my face, and my feet in yours. Going to New Mexico and seeing White Sands.

Being in your wedding and realizing my sister who I thought I couldn't stand, suddenly became special to me and I hated to see you all grown up, married and moving away. But I'm grateful because it wasn't until you grew up and moved on, that we became not only sisters but friends, like mom always said we would.

I will never forget missing you and flying to Georgia and getting to go to Savannah and Tybee Island with you, not to mention my two trips to Tennesee and going to Nashville and the Gaylord Hotel and Country Music Hall of Fame.

Some of my best memories in life and my only opportunities to travel have been because of you living out of Texas and I will always be grateful and never forget those times and the memories that were made!

I could go on, but there's too many to name! And I'll keep the rude and obnoxious stories between you and me ;) gotta love sisters!
