1st day of swimming lessons
Today was Ashlyn's first day of swimming lessons with Ms. Pam. At first she did really well, she was taking it all in, wondering why other kids were crying and throwing fits. Well, it didnt take long for Ashlyn to figure out why and she joined in to. Crying is contagious as Ms Pam was telling us. Her first 2 turns she just kicked her feet and the other few times she went under and swam to the side. For whatever reason Ashlyn was screaming and crying the rest of the class time, class time is only 45 min. I'm hoping by day 5 her crying will calm down, I'd hate for it to get worse and last the full 2 weeks. It was neat going back to the pool where I grew up taking lessons from Ms Pam as did most of the kids in my family. Anyway, here are a few pictures of my big swimmer girl.

Awww...Ashlyn...you will be a little fish before we know it. I LOVE the last picture...LOL, that is great!
I'm telling you, looking at those pictures brought back so many memories. I am going to take off some monday so that I can go with you. I can't imagine how neat it would be to go back to that pool and see ms.pam again - we all cried and we all hated it, ashlyn is going to have to overcome it and learn to deal with it, she will thank you later, just like we all did when we went.
I look forward to hearing more about her lessons! Ms.Pam looks the exact same! So crazy to see her again!!
Ashlyn looks adorable in her swimsuit. That's great that she is in swim lessons. I look forward to Connor going to some but all the places here takes ages 3 and up...so we'll have to wait. Ashlyn will be good and ready for Hawaii...you really should come! :)
