Where is my camera or video camera when I need it? Luis and I were watching tv and Ashlyn was on her own with her Elmo of course and serious as could be trying her best to put a diaper on him, Luis and I just watched her and we both teared up at how adorable she is and how smart she is. I tried giving her a baby doll last week but Elmo is still her one and only. She gives him her sippy cup , snacks and tries to dress him and now put on a diaper. Think she needs a sibling? I know I have posted about Elmo before but this was just too cute to pass up. She is growing so much!
On another note...while Luis was gone I finally got her going to sleep without the huge crying fit and fighting. I rock her for a little bit then lay her down. If she did start to sit up and cry, I'd lay her down and firmly tell her to go night night, no crying , etc. And now she goes down like a champ. I hope I'm not jinxing this by telling everyone but I hope hope this sticks and we can finally just say night night and she go off to sleep. Now that that's accomplished I guess it's almost time for potty training, I want to start early so those who have done it or in the process please offer up suggestions.
