Ok so Luis and I started back on the low carb diet a few weeks ago. HE has lost like 12lbs or more, me? Well I didnt weigh before we started but I weighed like a week or two after and I was at the weight I last knew I was at, weighed again today, NOTHING LOST!!!!!! What is it with woman not being able to lose weight, are we cursed?? It's like dieting is not enough, working out is a must but do we really have the motivation or time? Time I have but the motivation is never there. Gyms are so boring to me, standing in the same place and staring at yourself in a mirror, oh yeah, that's entertaining! I try to walk everyday around the neighborhoods which I did today but I know I need more than walking. And you know doing videos at home aint gonna happen, you'd rather SIT and watch tv! LOL
Anyone want to give me some tips, suggestion or heck just some encouragment! ha.
I mean come on, Adam ate the apple too, so why is it women have to bare all the pain and excess weight, what do men really have to deal with (other than us)?
Ok off my soapbox, hope you enjoyed that one! ha

I hear you sister! I swear I hate working out but do so at least twice a week and know I need to more but time is not on my side and well I just cannot do the "no-carb" thing it is just too much and well we never eat fast food-I dont get it either. maybe we can encourage each other!! but I think you look GREAT!
I want you to think for a few minutes.... Women (in general) have more fat on them than men. Why? We store fat for the "long haul" so we can keep going & going. Kinda like the "Energizer Bunny", ha! Because we store more fat we have better endurance. We can go through birthing for hours and sometimes days... 'cuz we CAN. When running long distances, we can probably outlast a man...'cuz we have that extra boost & we can last the longer haul. We rise & sleep thru the first year of our child's life, holding up better than our spouse..'cuz we have better endurance. We then rise early, work all day and then into the night.. 'CUZ WE CAN. Very few of us at home Moms or working Moms get to sit down & watch the evening news while someone cooks supper, cleans the kitchen, puts the kids down, tends to the wash...etc... all before going to bed!! So! Some of this FAT is a good thing... just don't want to hold on to "Too Much", ha!
AMEN! Josh has been working out and looks great, I on the other had, have seen no change! I know I need to cut out soda and things like that, but I don't want to!I wish you could buy some motivation with a gym membership because motivation is what I need. YOu are not alone!
Yes we're cursed, haha. But be thankful for what you DO have sister :) afterall, if it weren't for some meat on your bones, you wouldn't have boobs and you'd be boobless like me. lol.
I hear you. It has been horriable for me trying to get off the prego pounds. I sware, Faith is almost a year... I don't think it is supposed to take that long! lol I just got a trainer because I can't do it myself I have decided. We will see though. I think I am just going to add to the problem though because they want to put the muscle on not just take the pounds off. We will see.
So far the best kinda thing I've found for shedding any weight is doing a metabolism starter diet. There are some really great ones out there. My brother, Mom and I did one and we each lost about 10 lbs in 6 days. At the end we didnt continue the diet, because its not meant to be a long term thing I haven't gained any of the weight back and it's been about 2 months. Those diets can get pricey, but usually are short term.
Anyhow, point is, try doing a metabolism booster diet first, then doing a no carb or whatever kind of diet. Because normally the problem has to do with metabolism.
I hope thats helpful, to a degree
