Summer is right, we usually blog about our kids, bragging on them and what not. But not really just tell it like it is. So today I feel like telling it like it is, I'm so sick of feeling the way I do. I feel so BLAH, I feel overweight and not happy about my appearance and I NEED to get off my butt and finally do something about it. My goal is to lose 20lbs this year while Luis is gone so I can WOW him when he comes home, although I will see him in June, if I can do it in half the time that would be great too. But I need the motivation!! Where does it come from? URGH.
My mom has joined Curves and I want to join with her but they dont have child care so we may have to flip flop with Ashlyn one watch her while the other works out so I need to get on that and FAST and not only that but stop drinking cokes and eating like a heifer! lol
And I need to start doing something productive with my time. I want to put Ashlyn into gymnastics and I want to use this time wisely and learn more about my camera and photography, I really really want to start my own business and my inspiration is Lisa Woods who has done this on top of being a mom and a wife and she's fantastic! I just dont know where to start. I want to take classes and strengthen my knowledge.
So now that I'm back in Austin and have all these resources at my disposal I need to take advantage of it and kick this year off with a new and fresh start!

Way to go! I'll encourage you cause I'll be doing it on my end too!! :) Then you can WOW me at my wedding! jk
Oh and our BM got the new brand new SUV before her new baby came! Now its off to the Bahamas!! What a life...oh but Matt he's a dead beat dad wouldn't you know it??? ahh the drama!
I went and read Summer's blog, and I totally agree. It is overwhelming sometimes to read other moms' blogs. They seem to always paint the perfect picture of parenting and life. And the ones that look perfect while doing it really annoy me! And I might add that they seem to cook on a regular basis! :)
I wonder if those blog moms have days where they catch other's throw up all day and still have their pjs on at 3:00 in the afternoon b/c of all the barf catching!
I don't know where to tell you to find motivation, I struggle with that myself. You can do it!!
I too am getting back on the workout train--why is it so easy to fall off the wagon? and right there with you cass on being in pjs when your kid throws up all over you and I laughed at cooking dinner every night-if only I was that good!
Great Post!! Good luck to you! I LOVE Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds DVDs! They helped me lose about 10 lbs this summer. (My favorite is the DVD that has a 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 mile on it) Since we live in the boonies there is NO WHERE to go work out and of course NO ONE to keep Luke. So these really helped me! I can't say that I've been doing much of anything here lately but maybe in a few weeks I can start back walking again!
I fell off of the work out wagon about a year ago so I can't offer any words of wisdom there. But I will tell you that my dr. cut me off of caffeine because I have stomach problems, and as soon as I quit drinking sodas, I dropped 5 lbs. almost instantly. I never thought I would be able to give up my DP, but once I did, it wasn't that bad. Now, it doesn't even sound good anymore. So if Cokes are your thing, try cutting them out and see if that helps. Good luck to ya girl. I know you will WOW your hubby when he gets back!
