Just a little update

Everything is going good here. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!! So excited for Christmas to roll around. I can't believe how fast it snuck up on me. Not a lot has been going on. My niece had a baby boy last week so that has been keeping me busy and at the same time giving me my baby fix I need! I'm so ready to have this baby!! I just want him/her here already to hold. We find out what we are having on Monday 21st. But holding that information until Christmas where we will surprise the family and all of you :) I'm feeling good. I have some bad backpain that hits every once in awhile and some pretty killer headaches, other than that it's going okay. I wish I could be one of those non complaining pregnant women, but that's just not me :) We had a great Thanksgiving with both of our families. Thurs was at my aunt's house on the lake and Friday we left for Laredo to be with Luis' family and Samantha. Ashlyn has been missing her so it was good to finally see her again. She is growing to be such a pretty young girl. Silly me didnt take a picture though :( She too is excited that I'm having another baby. Here are some recent pictures of us. Not sure if I posted these of Ashlyn or not.

My twinkie visits and I turn 30!

I haven't seen my twinkie since her wedding over a year ago. Nicci flew in to Austin the weekend before my 30th birthday (shall I remind myself ) It was so good to see her. We made sure to hit all her favorite TX food spots: Chuy's, Taco Cabana, Amy's icecream and sushi. We had a girls night out for sushi and ice cream which I really enjoyed and need to do more often. I miss my Nicci and wish so badly she lived in TX again, but nooooooo she insists on the cold, freezing, snowy weather in CO but that just means we have to visit more :)
For my birthday, Luis took me out to the Salt Grass where I killed a 17oz Tbone! It was heavenly and then came home and my mom made me an Apple Cobbler. I still can't believe I'm 30 but let's not talk about that again :) Here's the update, more to come!

Halloween

Each year is getting so much more enjoyable doing things with Ashlyn. She had a lot of fun this Halloween. As you can see, she was a beautiful Snow White. We went to see Braden as Dumbo first and then went to trick or treat with SheaShea and Isaiah as Captain America.

Ultrasound Pictures

The first one was taken at my first appointment. I was measuring smaller than my dates were predicting. However, the second week (2nd picture) he was able to get a better picture of the baby and put me at 8 weeks. I had another appointment this morning and the baby is looking good. The heartbeat was 172. I am 10 weeks (3rd picture)

I am feeling much better, the morning/all day nauseousness has stopped. I have more energy and can eat only when I am hungry, not every second of the day! lol

It's FALL

I love this season. I love all the warm colors and cool weather. I love the fall decor and pumpkins. I can't wait to start layering clothes and wearing boots. I heart boots!
Ashlyn and I haven't decided yet what her halloween costume will be. She always names a different princess and well I'd like her to be something unique so I guess we'll keep looking.

Me on the other hand .... I'm still dealing with all day sickness. My body just stays nauseous most of the time. I have some good days and I have some bad ones. My eating is under control, luckily I'm not having to eat every 30 minutes but if I do get hungry I get sick.
Once I get my ultrasound pictures scanned I'll post those.
My last appointment my doctor was able to see the baby a lot better so he was able to get a better measurement showing me further along than the previous week. So, I am 8 weeks and 3 days today..I think. I go back in 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to the next trimester that's for sure.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I'm curious who even reads this anymore besides my few friends who still comment and blog. :)

GUESS WHAT??!!

Well most of you already know but for those of you who do not, we are PREGNANT again!!! I have been waiting to tell everyone until after my doctor's appointment which was today. According to the dates of my last period, I am 8 weeks and 5 days, however based on the size of the baby today, he said I was only 6 weeks and 2 days. So that was confusing. I was able to hear the strong heartbeat which was very comforting. Ashlyn and my mom went with me.
My DR wants to see me again on Monday just to check me again. Because of my last miscarriage he just wants to keep a close eye on things for awhile which I'm very happy about.

We told Ashlyn the day I took the test. She is very excited however sometimes docent believe me because my belly doesn't look like a belly with a baby in it just yet :)

As of right now my due date is May 15, 2010. We are very excited. We have been trying for this little all year so I am truly thankful.

As far as how I'm feeling? Well, I'm hungry...ALL THE TIME. OMG it's really annoying. I'm not one of those that throw up and feel better. I'm one that if I feel hungry, I get nauseous and have to eat. This is like every hour or less. Talk about weight gain ugh. I've been pretty tired too. So all of which are good, healthy symptoms.

Now that I finally told everyone, I can keep everyone updated. Please keep us in your prayers that all goes well with this pregnancy. Any tips for good snacks please share, although sometimes nothing sounds good. ha. Oh the joys of pregnancy.
