Just wanted to check in with everyone real fast. I dont have internet and it's driving me bonkers. I found a great connection from my apartment complex parking lot, just not near my apartment ha. So I'm writing this from my car.
The apartment is good just what we need for right now. Luis is leaving in about 4 days and should be here in a week!! We bought a little 4ft tree and I let Ashlyn decorate it, it's all about her this year.
Well I need to get back, just wanted to check in. Will write more later!! Missing y'all...and Texas!

Baking cookies....

Baking cookies has always been a tradition for us. Mom's sugar cookies and then decorating them. Well this year Ashlyn got to help Gmommy bake cookies and decorate. She had so much fun and ate about a pound of cookie dough! The child didn't want any cookies with or without icing but give her cookie dough and she'd eat all of it (sounds like her mama). Dear Santa...

AND IT'S SNOWING HARD RIGHT NOW IN AUSTIN!! It's 11:20pm and we have big heavy flakes falling outside! This doesn't happen often! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

Time is a tickin'

I'm hitting the road on Saturday!! I'm still not sure exactly when Luis will be arriving, I'm hoping before Christmas but we shall see. I'm getting all my last "To Do's" out of the way and then I'll start packing on Thursday.

We will not have internet at our apartment (I KNOW!) but I will try my best to find service or go to free wi fi places, I can't live w/o internet!

Whew, thanks for letting me get that out! lol. OMG, I have about 11 days until I head back to Ft Campbell and I'm freaking! 1. Because I'm super excited and anxious to finally see my hubby and 2. Because that means I have 12 days left to shop for Christmas, pack for the trip, get our rooms ready for our return (and to fit my husbands stuff in our room). AHHHHHH :)
