Nicci's Wedding...pictures are up!

Nicci's wedding was so beautiful! I had such a wonderful time. I have been away from their family for too long! I love them all to death. I took quite a few pictures so I put them all in an album HERE so go check them out!! Nicci's brother, David, walked her down the aisle. It was so sweet. Nicci is on her honeymoon in Jamaica right now! I hope and pray the weather is clear and sunny for them. This was such a sweet and fun wedding. It was too short of a trip, I need to go back, Colorado is so pretty! K, go check out the pictures, enjoy!

I'm back...

Which means I left! I flew out on Friday morning with clear skies headed to CO to see my best friends that are so dear to me. Nicci..now Moralez got married at the Hudson Gardens Saturday. It was gorgeous. She was gorgeous. I can go years without seeing the King family but as soon as I do, it's like I'm back in the family all over again. I love each of them to pieces. Nicci married a great guy and his love for her was obvious as she walked down the aisle, it was hard to fight back the tears. I just wish I could have stayed longer. I left this morning which was a battle in itself, I'm SO tired and my feet from being in heels from morning to night are now reaping the consequences.
I took hundreds of pictures so once I have the energy to begin uploading them I will post them on Nicci's blog and some on mine.
Nicci and Matt head to Jamaica tomorrow morning. I wish them all the best life and love have to offer and I pray for sunny clear skies for their honeymoon.

YIKES IKE!

Ike should be called Yikes! This hurricane looks pretty bad, especially for Galveston. My heart goes out to everyone there and praying they all evacuate. I have family in Port Arthur who should be evacuating today but they aren't going fast enough.

I fly out in the morning to head to Colorado for Nicci's wedding! I cant wait to see her but I pray my flight doesn't get delayed because of the surge. I tried getting a flight out today but all of them were booked :( So pray that I get there in time to enjoy the day with her. But I'm dreading turbulance, I get motion sickness fast and easy and I'm leaving my baby girl behind :(
I havent seen Nicci in years so I'm so excited to see all of her family again. Of course I'll be taking my camera and I'll update her blog as well as mine probably Sunday night so be on watch since most of you know her too.

My prayers go out to everyone being effected by Hurricane Ike, especially that ship that is stuck in the ocean with no power. God watch over all of them.

Brown Eyed Girl

Hey Friends...
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have established a business name for myself. It's "Brown Eyed Girl Photography" I spent months trying to find the name that best suited me and also wanted it to have special meaning. Since Ashlyn was born, I have always sung to her "You're my brown eyed girl..." Till this day she knows the song and hey, my brown eyes are behind the camera so it all fit! I'm taking another class this semester to gain more knowledge and practice my skills. I'm trying to create a logo which isn't going as fast as I would like and then onto the blog and website. Until then continue to check out my other blog. I just added new pictures of my nieces.
And I just wanted to thank my friends, Lisa Woods and Keith Rizzo for helping me out and teaching me the ropes, they have been so helpful to me!

Hook 'Em Horns

First game of the season and we kicked butt, but Florida Atlantic wasn't really a challenge it seemed. But game day is a great excuse to dress my little girl up in UT gear :) She has been practicing hard to do her Hook Em Horns sign and finally mastered it, it's so cute. I also braided her hair for the first time and it looked adorable, had to share.

I saw this company on the Food Network yesterday. John and Kira are based out of Philadelphia and make the cutest chocolate candies. It's such a great gift idea or for events like baby showers or weddings. I had to share!
