Rodeo 2009

We went to the rodeo with best friends Debralea and Jeff a week ago. We saw the rodeo, ate turkey legs and funnel cakes and saw Kellie Pickler perform that night. We had a great time. A few days later, even in pouring rain, we took Ashlyn back so she could go to the kids part of it and pet the animals, see the cows, ride a pony, etc. She had a blast, as did I. I swear this was the life I was meant to have with horses and livestock. I was in the petting zoo forever ha. One day .... we will have our ranch and horses just you wait and see :) Here are pics, enjoy!

Bailey

No, this isn't my puppy, wish it were, but this is my niece, Jessica's, new puppy. She is 16 (almost 17) and has been saving up for a new car but splurged a little and bought herself a new Maltipoo and named her Bailey. I couldn't resist taking pictures and stuffing her in little things! She is too cute and Ashlyn just loves her to death!

Hey Girlies...
Not alot going on lately but I thought I'd post something for you to read :)
Is anyone watching Grey's?? I know you are! I can't believe all that is going on, especially with Izzy!! Poor girl, it's so sad. I totally cried when she was telling Christina standing over the fans. I had heard rumors of all of this but it's still a sad story. I'm glad everyone knows now. And Derek and Meredith, when will that rollercoaster of love end with them?

I'm excited about the new show that is coming on ABC.... "In the Motherhood" it looks pretty funny.
I havent been keeping up much with Idol, I need to though. I know I like Danny, he's my favorite so far.

In other news....I'm just trying to get more work. Luis is thinking about joining Air Force reserves on top of APD for the insurance and sign on bonus and thinking about a part time job until Sept. But so far so good with us.

I love that it's spring! I can't wait for summer to swim again. I love sun bathing and swimming.

Has anyone seen bluebonnets yet? Let me know spots if you see any.

Army to APD

Well it's official.... Luis has been accepted into the Austin Police Department!! His academy will start in September. So I am no longer an Army wife but a Police Officer's wife! ahh what a transition this will be! I'll just be happy when he starts the academy, which is 8 months long.
Wanted to share the good news! I'll have to change my blog title now!

Sisters

Here are some sweet sisters! We have seen Sammi all week and it has been great to see the girls together again. Yesterday was a good day, they played as sisters and laughed. I knew I had to take pictures of the two of them before I left. I can't believe how big they are both getting. Samantha is 7 already!
