Not much going on....

I just thought I'd check in with everyone. Not much has really been going on, hence the no new postings. Fall is here and that is so nice! I have been waiting for Oct so I can begin my fall decor.
And I'm so happy all my fav shows are back on!
So what are your kiddos dressing up as for Halloween? I still can't decide for Ashlyn. Any ideas?

Voice of Elmo

I know Elmo has been the subject of many of my blogs and I'm sorry for that, but when he feels like a part of the family, you can't help it!
Just in case you were wondering, this is who is the voice of Elmo, it is this guy, Richard Hunt. How cute is that? Big ol guy has that tiny high pitch voice inside of him! Just had to share.

Down Down Baby

On one of "Elmo's Worlds" there are 3 girls doing a clapping routine to this song:

"Down Down Baby I can do karate...
Down Down baby I can shake my body....
Down Down baby I can call my mommy...
Down Down baby OOPS I'm sorry!"

And everyday Ashlyn sings this song. She sings
"Down Down Baby (mumbles something )..... body" and she claps her hands. It's so cute.

Mini Photoshoot

I am trying to better my photography skills and photoshop skills so today I took my one and only best model to Dunbar Cave to look at some spots to shoot and of course to snap her photo too.

1. I love sleep, I mean LOVE sleep, always have. But I can only sleep with it being quiet and my white noise of my fan on , if I dont have the fan I cant sleep it would be too quiet AND I do wear the eye mask to sleep since I hate light!

2. I love to cook and I love to eat (can't you tell?) But my favorite food other than mexican is asian food mainly sushi, love love love it! And I'm also addicted to pistachios!

3. My passion other than family is photograpy. I'm really wanting to start up my own business but just trying to figure out how and also get better at it before I really step out there. I never leave home without my camera.

4. I want another baby! Ashlyn is my heart but she needs a sibling. I hope to have at least 3 kids if not 4, but we'll take that one at a time.

5. I'm a cowgirl at heart. If I could I'd have a house on a ranch with horses. I love horses and now Ashlyn does too. I hope one day to get her into riding (maybe me too) And yes I own boots but just one pair but I'd like a couple more.

6. I love scrapbooking if I have the time and the space, it becomes a mess but I enjoy it.

7. When I was pregnant with Ashlyn in the last couple of weeks my nose was so big, it got so swollen, you could totally tell , it was awful!

8. My overall dream is to one day move back to Austin, buy a home we can call ours, have a nice yard, trees and be near family and friends and stay there!

Mark your calendars...it's almost time

Time is getting near, the days are approaching finally for the new fall season of TV watching!!
Okay so my only problem is this. We only have one DVR and since we are on post they will not let us drill in order to put in the second line soooo we can only record one show at a time and if that show is recording that is the show you have to watch, you cant record one and watch another!! And I do have some conflicting show times!!! So I may have to watch one upstairs while another records or get another DVR for the upstairs, ha. Well here it is, all my favorites shows and a few new ones.

Just to recap:
*Grey's: So several cast members have left so I've heard. 1. Addison has her new spinoff 2. Burke left and may have a guest appearance on Addison's show and 3. Is George leaving?
Ok and to continue...so Meredith's sister is the one McDreamy almost hit on at the bar and she's now an intern? This is the best show in the history of shows!!

*Desperate Housewives is always drama drama drama! I think Carlos and Gabrielle will get back together, do you? It appears that her new hubby is not who she thought he was. And Brie acted like she was pregnant but really her daughter is and Brie is covering it up as always.
OH, almost forgot, did Edie hang herself??? I hope not.

*And I mainly watch Criminal Minds for the oh so dreamy Shamar Moore!! gorgeous

*NCIS and HOUSE have always been on my top lists of favorites, HOUSE especially, did he lose his whole team?

Our Anniversary

Today was our 4 year wedding anniversary and we went out to eat at Hananoki Japanese for Sushi!! It was so good. Here are some pictures of our evening.

It's Raining...it's pouring

I'm so excited...I'm sitting outside right now and it's raining and it's pouring!! We havent had rain in over a month, it's been so dry and so hot here and it's coming down hard today! Just had to cheer about it! I was just about to go on our daily morning walk, thankfully I didnt leave any earlier or we would have gotten soaked. Luckily we have a carport so we'll stick to chalk and crayons today. Although Ashlyn is trying to slowly creep out into the yard and getting wet, ha.

Troy, Alabama Trip

We took a trip this weekend to Troy University in Troy, AL. Luis will be graduating this Dec there and he wanted to check out the campus. It was about a 6 hour drive and thanks to a friend loaning us their portable DVD player, Ashlyn did great! We also drove down to Ft Rucker, AL which is where Luis went to Flight Medic school a couple of years ago. It was just good to get away as a family.
